Thunderpick Account Verification (KYC)
Thunderpick asks for KYC when a user reaches internal risk triggers, requests a withdrawal, changes sensitive account details, or when transaction patterns require source checks. The process is completed inside the account dashboard by uploading document images and waiting for manual review.
- Identity (ID/Passport): Thunderpick requests a government-issued photo document such as a passport, national ID card, or driving licence. The upload must show the full document, all corners visible, readable text, and no edits; Thunderpick can also request a selfie or a short live-face check to match the account holder to the document.
- Address proof: Thunderpick accepts a utility bill, bank statement, or government letter showing the userβs full name and residential address. The document must be recent (commonly within the last 90 days) and match the details in the profile; screenshots of online banking are often rejected if they do not show issuer details and date.
- Payment method: Thunderpick verifies the payment method when the withdrawal method needs ownership confirmation or when deposits trigger a compliance check. For bank cards, users typically provide a photo showing the first 6 and last 4 digits with the middle digits covered, plus the cardholder name; for e-wallets, a statement or account page showing the user name and email/ID; for bank transfers, a statement showing the account holder and IBAN/account number.
Processing time is commonly 24β72 hours after submission, and longer if images are unclear, details do not match, or extra checks are requested. Withdrawals can stay pending until KYC is approved, and Thunderpick can request additional documents if the first set does not resolve the verification step.
